    Just wondering about differences between tower/props/mat 1 & semi-private….we’ve got 3 of us (not including lindsey) that want to start w/beginner. I’ve done some pilates but its been a while & none on the machines (other than the southside class you did). Definitely want to lose ab flab :) and build core muscles…looking forward to getting started. I was going to come tonight if possible…didnt know if you were booked.

    Thanks for the comment here. I added some descriptions of each of the equipment classes in the “class schedule” page. Overall though, I try and match the student with the equipment that’s best for their body and fitness level. Does that help?

    I have taken pilates before while I was dancing professional for a ballet company in Ukraine. I have since retired from my ballet career and I’m currently finishing a degree at the University of Greensboro.
    I would like to get into a few classes soon. I’m looking to get back into shape to begin training in ballet again.

    Is that possible?? If it is not open can I sign up for a private lesson.
    I have never done pilates before and would like to explore it in order to mix up my current exercise regimen

  18. Excellent post. I’ve had a lot of luck with Pilates. Since I started I feel much more motivated and nowhere near as stressed. I really believe Pilates is worth the time.
